Why You Won’t See Homework at Fit Learning
At Fit, we are commonly asked, “Do you assign homework?”.
We are proud to share that due to the efficiency of our Fit Learning sessions, we NEVER assign homework to our learners.
Why?
There’s simply no need!
Our 50-minute sessions are strategically designed to maximize learning. We often tell parents that their child’s Fit session will be the hardest they work all day without knowing how hard they work.
Utilizing data from their comprehensive assessment, we are able to engage in hundreds of quality practice opportunities each and every session. Furthermore, our sessions are designed to provide targeted feedback. This can be efficient error correction or opportunities for reinforcement.
So what can parents do to supplement a Fit Learning Enrollment?
PLAY!
At Fit Learning, our goal is to provide quality academic instruction to allow you to see generative results in your daily life. Incorporating play and other opportunities for interaction are perfect ways to support the growth your learner will see as a result of a Fit Learning enrollment.
We encourage parents to look for opportunities to see the math, reading, and/or comprehension gains their child makes outside of Fit. This can be as simple as practicing sounding out the name of a store or grocery item or engaging in conversation about new topics! Our goal is for our learners to fluently demonstrate their newly acquired skills in flexible ways.
